Commercial Director (Ref. Code: CM-2024) - Closing Date: 20 August 2024

Responsibilities

As the Commercial Director, you will primarily be based in Cairo, and you will play a pivotal role in driving the company's commercial strategy, as well as sales and business development efforts on a local, regional and global scale. Your key responsibilities will include:

  1. Strategic Leadership
    • Develop and execute the commercial strategy aligned with the overall business objectives.
    • Drive revenue growth through the effective positioning and sale of our products.
    • Build and lead the commercial team.
  2. Sales and Business Development
    • Identifying and cultivating new sales and business opportunities.
    • Developing sales strategies and channels to expand the company's market presence.
    • Maintaining strong relationships with clients, partners, and stakeholders.
    • Negotiating and closing deals to meet and exceed revenue targets.
  3. Market Analysis
    • Stay abreast of industry trends, market dynamics, and competitive landscape for informed decision-making.
    • Conduct market analysis to identify new potential clients and growth areas and regions.
  4. Cross-Functional Collaboration
    • Collaborate closely with product development and customer success teams to ensure alignment between customer needs and product offerings.
    • Provide valuable insights to enhance product development based on market feedback.

Qualifications

  1. Experience
    • A proven track record of success in a senior commercial, sales or business development role.
    • Minimum 5 years of experience in B2B (preferably software) positions.
    • Reasonable knowledge of the agricultural industry, market dynamics, and customer needs with a keen eye for identifying untapped opportunities is a plus.
  2. Skills
    • Excellent analytical and strategic thinking capabilities.
    • Strong negotiation and deal-closing skills.
    • Excellent communication, interpersonal and presentation skills.
    • Networking and relationship-building skills. A proactive and results-oriented attitude.
  3. Education
    • A bachelor's degree in commerce/business or related field is preferred

Digital Marketing Intern (Ref. Code: DM-02-2024) - Closing Date: 1 September 2024

Responsibilities

  • Implement targeted online marketing activities
  • Social media campaign design, launch and management (setup, posting, moderation, regular reporting on performance using analytics, insights, etc.)

Qualifications

  • 0-2 Years experience in digital marketing
  • Experience with social media marketing platforms
  • Excellent communication and English language skills
  • Passion for innovation and staying up to date with industry trends
  • Experience with SEO is a plus
